It has been a while since Feist has been to Vancouver and I have to say that she really did blow me away. When a lot of people think about Feist it seems that they remember the whole “1234” radio / Sesame Street hit that can give the wrong impression. The Broken Social Scene / solo artist has much more to her than just fun loving silly radio plays. She has an edge and knows how to rock- and that is just what she did in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom.
Pleasure, the fifth studio album to be release by Feist, came out earlier this year and is said to explore some deep dark topics and yet they come across in a very strong and commanding manner and have ensured that I will be taking a deeper listen to the album.
Being asked to shoot from the back of the room may have made the photos harder to get, so I opted to have some playful artistic looks at the show so check them out below.
