January 26, 2018 The Commodore Ballroom Photography by: Daniel W Young
Over a month had gone bye since I had attended a concert and I was beginning to get a bit twitchy. Luckily for me there were a ton of great shows nearing the end of January to kick us into a hefty February – and my first show was a killer performance by Passion Pit at the Commodore Ballroom last night.
The place was packed, the mood was set, and the crowd was welcomed to a seventeen song set that kicked off with “I’ll Be Alright” and ended with “Take A Walk”. Great songs for sure, great performances no doubt, but some of my fav performances for the night came in the middle of the set when Michael Angelakos did stuff with his voice that was truly inhuman- out of this world in the best possible way.
The crowd danced the night away with the greatest of smiles and I could not have picked a better way to kick off the year.
